Life in the tropics is fraught with danger
All that moves is out to get you
Be honest and tell you what I really dread
To be hit by a coconut on the head
The things that can get you are really exotic
Some can be stopped with anti-biotic
But when it comes to basics wait and see
You won't find me neath a coconut tree
What would they tell my dearest kindred
She was brave she was tough but keep the secret
That her fate in the tropics was her final dread
Killed by a coconut on the head
So remember friend as you look around
At all those coconuts on the ground
Coconuts have eyes and they can see
Best be kind to your coconut tree
